Ready to close this year mindfully? Here's a different kind of year-end reflection.

Think of your life like a Russian nesting doll: with You at the center, surrounded by the circles of Life and Work. Each layer depends on the size and strength of your inner core. When you grow your inner capacity, everything around you has more room to expand.

So this reflection isn't about listing accomplishments or setting new goals. It's about seeing how you've grown your capacity to hold all of life—the challenges, the joys, the unexpected turns that "lifed" you this year. Acknowledging your growth IS how you create more capacity to show up for everything and everyone that matters to you.

This guided reflection honors your whole journey in all domains—You, Life, Work. This builds something more powerful than confidence or positive thinking. It builds hope—not by silver-lining difficult moments, but by helping you see how you found a way forward to the now, whatever your "now" might be.

Taking time to reflect on and acknowledge your growth isn't self-indulgent, it's how you expand your capacity to hold more life, more work, and more possibility.

Here’s how I used this reflection guide for my 2024 review:
